Are you pregnant or a new mom or dad? Are you interested in giving your baby the best start in life? This online friendly and informal session is delivered by one of our Early Years Specialist teachers and aims to: Raise your awareness of why talking to your child from bump onwards is very important Increase your knowledge of speech language and communication norms / development Provide ideas of how to support language development at home with everyday interactions. We'll post out to you a Making Talking Fun handbook, which will give you even more ideas on how you support your baby's early language skills. Splash and Chat

6 weeks of FREE splash time fun with your little one, and then once you are dry get together with some of the other parents for a chat. This session is aimed at parents/carers and their child. We have hired the swimming pool so you can spend some time splashing and having fun with your little one.

Little Chefz

Little Chefz is our cooking and lunch club where we will learn all about food. We will decide which food is good and bad for us, explore kitchen safety and cleanliness, experiment with simple recipes and learn some basic skills. It's all about playing, making and creating, and we get to eat it after!

Sandy Bear Story Time

Sandy Bear Story Time Sessions are interactive story sessions for families with children under the age of 5. The sessions are led by a member of staff or volunteer who will read stories, sing songs, and play games to encourage early literacy and language development. These sessions also provide an opportunity for parents and carers to connect with other families. You can also join the library, borrow books and take part with the Sandy Bear scheme, collecting stickers each time you visit to earn your very own Sandy Bear teddy and certificate.

Breastfeeding Network Support (virtual)

Not quite ready to venture out and about Join us for general breastfeeding social and support. B.E.A.R.S virtual drop-in groups are held Zoom in a safe and comfortable environment for support with starting and continuing breastfeeding. The breastfeeding team will offer evidence-based information, tailored breastfeeding support, and friendly face and listening ear. It’s a great way to meet other local breastfeeding families too. The Albion Foundation is delighted to welcome players to it's Junior Baggies Sessions. Using the WBA brand, the coaches will support children to develop physical FUNdamentals and players’ basic football skills. Sweaty Mamilates is a great way to keep active during pregnancy. The workout is specifically designed to support your body pre-natally. You can keep it low to begin with and it’s lots of fun too.
