Bump and Beyond
Are you pregnant or a new mom or dad? Are you interested in giving your baby the best start in life? This online friendly and informal session is delivered by one of our Early Years Specialist teachers and aims to: Raise your awareness of why talking to your child from bump onwards is very important Increase your knowledge of speech language and communication norms / development Provide ideas of how to support language development at home with everyday interactions. We'll post out to you a Making Talking Fun handbook, which will give you even more ideas on how you support your baby's early language skills. Splash and Chat
6 weeks of FREE splash time fun with your little one, and then once you are dry get together with some of the other parents for a chat. This session is aimed at parents/carers and their child. We have hired the swimming pool so you can spend some time splashing and having fun with your little one.

Paediatric First Aid
Sandwell Adult and Family Learning will lead this 2 hour course. This free course is for Sandwell's expectant or new parents only and provides an introduction on how to manage minor wounds, choking, CPR for babies and the recovery position. Click find out more to find the next available workshop.

Breastfeeding Network Support (virtual)
Not quite ready to venture out and about Join us for general breastfeeding social and support. B.E.A.R.S virtual drop-in groups are held Zoom in a safe and comfortable environment for support with starting and continuing breastfeeding. The breastfeeding team will offer evidence-based information, tailored breastfeeding support, and friendly face and listening ear. It’s a great way to meet other local breastfeeding families too.
