Story stations
Visit our FREE Story Stations across Sandwell!
Our team of amazing Ready to Learn Super Heroes have been hard at work, travelling far and wide to set up magical Story Stations across Sandwell Libraries, Museums and community venues —just for you!
- Dress up in lots of amazing costumes.
- Use our special cameras to take photos.
- Collect a Ready to Learn Journal.
- Create your own story.
Step into these special spaces and let your imagination soar.
Don’t forget there will be plenty of chances to snap fun photos of your adventures along the way and add them to this journal!
Every moment you spend exploring, creating and imagining will help you fill your journal with colourful memories, exciting stories and brilliant creations.
Come and play, imagine, create and get Ready to Learn! Not only are our Ready to Learn Story Stations fun and free for you and your child to enjoy but they also help children build essential skills through fun and creative play. Dressing up and creating their own stories helps children develop communication, confidence and early literacy skills. Activities like these encourage social interaction, independence and fine motor development.
