Sandwell Choices Programme
The Choices programme is all about helping Sandwell families make wonderful memories together. This programme offers a variety of fun, free activities designed to support your whole family in creating lifelong habits for a happier, healthier life. You'll get to spend quality time together while discovering new activities and delicious food!
There’s lots to try – like arts and crafts, gardening, games, horse riding, rock climbing and more!
Who Can Join In?
These sessions are for families living in Sandwell with children aged 5-12 years. You are eligible to book if you are a parent or carer and have a child in this age range who either:
- Currently lives in Sandwell.
- Currently attends a Sandwell school.
We kindly ask that a parent or carer books a ticket for themselves as well as for their children. To ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience, we encourage adults to stay and participate alongside their children for the entire session.
Booking and Participation
- Each activity has a limited number of spaces, so please remember to include every family member attending when you book your ticket.
- Choices activities are specifically designed for children aged 5-12, but we understand you may have other children. If an activity allows it, please read the description carefully to ensure it's suitable for bringing additional children, and remember it's your responsibility to look after them for the entire activity.
- To make sure as many families as possible get to experience Choices, please only book each course once. If we find that bookings are made for activities that a family has already attended, we may have to cancel them. Additionally, if a family misses two booked activities without notice, we will need to cancel any future bookings to free up spaces for other families.
- Some of the activities can be messy or are held outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather and the activity—wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bringing along your wellies is a great idea!
